Presidential Fellowships
First established in 2014, the Presidential Fellowship Program is amongst the university's most competitive and prestigious scholarships. The fellowship program provides important financial support to recruit and retain outstanding graduate students, whose work here ensures that Carnegie Mellon maintains its position as an international leader in graduate education and research.
Graduate Fellowships
Liang Ji-Dian Graduate Fellowship
This fellowship was created through the generosity of Liang Ji-Dian and was established to help support the graduate studies of highly deserving College of Engineering Ph.D. students of Chinese heritage.
Neil and Jo Bushnell Fellowship in Engineering
This fellowship was created through the generosity of Neil and Jo Bushnell and was established to provide merit fellowships to graduate students pursuing doctoral degrees in nanotechnology or electronic materials in the College of Engineering.
Phillips and Huang Family Fellowship in Energy
This fellowship was created through the generosity of Michael S. Phillips and Caroline B. Huang and was established to help support the graduate studies of highly deserving College of Engineering Ph.D. students whose research interests impact the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
Bradford and Diane Smith Graduate Fellowship in Engineering
This fellowship was created through the generosity of Bradford and Diane Smith and was established to help support the graduate studies of highly deserving students in the College of Engineering.
Ronald F. and Janice A. Zollo Fellowship
This fellowship was created through the generosity of Ronald F. and Janice A. Zollo and was established to help support the graduate studies of highly deserving College of Engineering graduate students whose research is related to neuroscience or neuroengineering.
Thomas and Adrienne Klopack Graduate Fellowship in Engineering
This fellowship was created through the generosity of Thomas and Adrienne Klopack and was established to help support the graduate studies of highly deserving College of Engineering Ph.D. students, with preference to a first-year student in Chemical Engineering.
